Talent Show!

Hello Fifth Graders!
Usually, at this time of year, we are preparing for our fifth-grade class performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”  As that is not a possibility right now, we would like to arrange a virtual fifth-grade talent show via Zoom.  This will give students who wish to do so an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents, as well as allow students to see their classmates in other classes.  We will be hosting two talent shows, that way we can keep each show to a reasonable amount of time.  The first will take place on May 13th at 1:00 and the second will take place on May 20th at 1:00.  This isn’t an assignment and isn’t mandatory, just a fun way to end the school year.  If your student is interested in performing, please let his or her homeroom teacher know:
  • what they will be doing as their talent
  • the length of time needed (we would like to keep each performance to approximately three minutes or less)
  • the preferred date.

Some examples of things you could you are: show us a trophy you've won, sing a song, perform magic tricks, play the piano, show a drawing, do a basketball trick, gymnastics, etc.  Be creative!
All content needs to be school/student appropriate.  Other family members may assist, but since this is a fifth-grade talent show, please have your fifth grader be the main performer.

Thanks!
Mrs. Benedict, Mrs. Bacoch, and Ms. Purdie
